Narrandjeri Stadium is now the official name of the new multi-sports stadium being built at John Cain Memorial Park after being approved by Geographic Names Victoria.

Come and celebrate the opening of Narrandjeri Stadium at the Community Open Day on Saturday 23 April 2022 from 10am-2pm.

We are so excited to invite everyone to come and get involved now this much anticipated facility has been built.

Join in on the fun activities, experience the purpose-built premier facility in person and watch the community in action showing their talents on court. Who knows, maybe you will be inspired and join in!

Clublinks appointed as Stadium Operators

Council is delighted to announce that Clublinks Management Pty Ltd have been appointed to operate the Stadium for four+ years commencing from the stadium’s opening in the coming months. The contract also includes management of the Darebin Community Sports Stadium from 1 July 2022.

This continues the vision of the stadium in becoming an inclusive, premier facility, where our community can come and kick their play, health and wellbeing goals together.

We’re building Narrandjeri Stadium to enhance the health and well-being of Darebin residents by helping more people to get involved in sport and physical activity.

The Stadium is one of Council’s 16 big actions that was identified as a priority by the Darebin community.
