The report of the independent Planning Panel appointed to consider the amendment and submissions has been released.

The Panel has supported the application of the Heritage Overlay within the precinct, but has recommended the size of the precinct be reduced. Further detail is included in the report, available in the ‘Documents’ section of the web site.

Council will consider the findings of the Panel at an upcoming meeting. We will write to all submitters once the date of this meeting is confirmed. Submitters will have an opportunity to address the meeting, if you would like to do so.

Until this meeting takes place, Council does not have a position on the Panel report or the next steps in the planning scheme amendment process.
