- She has a blocked drain and needs a plumber to come and fix it.
Bernie is eligible for:
- Carer Permit
- Service Permit
- User-Pays Permit
Giorgios
- Giorgos lives with his partner and two young children in one of six townhouses built in 2008.
- There are parking restrictions on his street as he lives close to Bell Station.
- Giorgos’ family has one off-street parking space in their garage.
- Due to heavy rain the garage was flooded, so they are unable to park their car there while the garage gets fixed.
Giorgos is eligible for:
- Service Permit
- User-Pays Permit
- Extenuating Circumstances Resident Permit so he can park on the street while his garage gets fixed.
Quynh
- Quynh lives with her partner and two adult children in a single-dwelling home built in 1995.
- There are parking restrictions on her street as it is a busy area and there were safety concerns with cars circulating looking for parking.
- Quynh’s family has no off-street parking.
- They own two cars. Quynh’s son Sam keeps a van owned by his employer at their home as he uses it for work.
Quynh is eligible for:
- 2x Resident Permits
- Daily Visitor Permits
- Service Permit
- User-Pays Permit
- Extenuating Circumstances Resident Permit for the commercial vehicle Sam uses.
Sofia
- Sofia lives with her husband, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren in a single-dwelling home built in 1966.
- There are parking restrictions on her street as there is a busy aged care facility on the corner.
- Sofia’s family own four cars. They have two off-street parking spaces.
- They can’t fit all their cars on their property.
Sofia is eligible for:
- 1x Resident Permits
- Daily Visitor Permits
- Service Permit
- User-Pays Permit
- Extenuating Circumstances Resident Permit for the additional car they can’t fit on their property
Akeem
- Akeem lives with three housemates in one of two townhouses built on their block in 2015.
- There are parking restrictions already on his street as it’s very close to a school and a TAFE college.
- Akeem and his housemates share two cars between them and have one off-street parking space.
- They often hold study groups at their home with their friends who need to park nearby.
Akeem is eligible for:
- 1x Resident Permits
- Daily Visitor Permits
- Service Permit
- User-Pays Permit
Sarah
- Lives with her partner and three children in a
single-dwelling home built in 1980.
- There are no parking restrictions within 100 metres of her dwelling.
Sarah is eligible for:
- User-Pays Permit in an area that does have parking restrictions.
Sarah isn’t eligible for any other parking permits, because like most Darebin residents she doesn’t need them to park outside her home, as she and her family have access to unrestricted parking on their street.
