Thank you for your valuable input into our Parking Permit Policy engagement project in 2022 and 2023. This project sought to ensure Darebin’s Parking Permit Policy was user-friendly, achieved greater equity, and responded to the needs of our growing and changing community.

On 27 November 2023, Council adopted a new Policy which will come into effect in March 2024. Our new Policy considered your feedback through two stages of community engagement, as well as transport industry standards and technical guidelines, the recommendations of a peer review, and decisions made at Council meetings.
