What we've heard

During the first round of consultation, we heard the community is concerned about safety at the intersection of Tambo Avenue and Yarra Street due to "hooning."

What we're proposing

We are proposing the following improvements for the intersection of Tambo Avenue and Yarra Street:

  • splitter islands on Tambo Avenue at the Yarra Street intersection (north and south legs).

These treatments are expected to have the following benefits:

  • reduced area in the intersection for "hooning" and
  • improved lane discipline.
