Drop In session - Consultation Report

The results are in from the drop in session in July.

People said of the event

“Today’s response and attendance is a strong indication of how loved Pender's is seen. Its communal friendliness and connection with young and old is the answer and value.”

Here is a summary of the key results:

  • 200 community members attended the drop-in event (approx).

  • 99 online survey participants.

  • 372 bits of feedback received at community event. 149 online comments.

  • Over 70% of feedback strongly agreed with the Vision (17% agreed).

  • Over 80% of feedback rated five out of the six key design principles as ‘Very important’ or ‘Important’.

  • The ‘Distinctive Identity’ principle had mixed results - 13% rating it ‘Not at all important’/’Less important’. Despite this, 66% rated it ‘Important’ or ‘Very important’.

  • 65% of online participants live in Thornbury, 24% in Preston.
