We’re making some improvements because we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy TW Blake Park!
What's happened so far
In November 2022, we asked you about your ideas for improving TW Blake Park and spoke to more than 80 people online and in-person.
The following key messages emerged from the consultation:
- A desire to see an outdoor exercise area and a play space.
- The need for a dog off-lead area to be retained, improve the assets and social gathering place.
- The need for amenities such as seats, bins and drinking fountains.
Council analysed community feedback received and created a draft concept design for future improvements. The concept plan was shared with the community for a second consultation round between the 10 – 26 February, 2023. Thank you to everyone who participated. The feedback received was invaluable in shaping the future of the site. As a result, current works are underway which include the installation of;

Project improvements are currently being delivered for the community to enjoy. Asset improvements are currently underway.
