A basketball half court and ring at Rubie Thomson Reserve
We are considering installation of a basketball half court and ring at Rubie Thomson Reserve in Northcote. Before we make any decisions, we would like to check what you think of this idea.
In mid-2025, a community member tabled a petition at a Council meeting asking us to explore this addition to the park. A feasibility study we undertook recently confirmed it was possible to include the basketball half court and ring at Rubie Thomson Reserve.
Now we would like to ask you, the local users of this park, for your feedback.
Any future work will rely on Council securing sufficient funding to install these additional features at the park.
